Stephen Kissler is a 2022 NOMIS & Science Young Explorer Award finalist. He is a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Cambridge, US.
Kissler received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, both in applied mathematics. He is completing his postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and will start his laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado in 2023. His research examines how immunological and behavioral factors influence the spread of respiratory viruses. His NOMIS & Science essay is “Revealing contagion.”
