eikones – Center for the Theory and History of the Image, University of Basel

eikones – Center for the Theory and History of the Image is an interfaculty and interdisciplinary scientific unit at the University of Basel, Switzerland, which aims to coordinate and promote research and teaching regarding the theory and history of the image. eikones has been a NOMIS partner since 2017. Together, they have established the NOMIS–eikones Fellowship Program.
