Advancing science needs out-of-the box thinking
May 9, 2016
When NOMIS researcher Dr. Eric Reimann was invited to join the Arizona Alzheimer Consortium in Phoenix, he was a practicing psychiatrist who did not know much about the disease. Today, the passionate scientist’s name is synonymous with Alzheimer Research. His research looked for ways to study people at different levels of genetic risk for Alzheimer’s, getting a sneak peak by watching brain changes before people actually develop symptoms.
